‌‌ -শক্তি মণ্ডল বিদ্যাসাগরই বঙ্গদেশে শিশুশিক্ষার ও জনশিক্ষার প্রকৃত সোপান রচনা করেছিলেন। এক্ষেত্রে তার শ্রেষ্ঠ শিল্প সৃষ্টি ও বৈজ্ঞানিক আবিষ্কার ‘বর্ণপরিচয়’। ১৮৫৫ সালের ১ বৈশাখ (১৩ এপ্রিল) ‘বর্ণপরিচয় প্রথম ভাগ’ এবং ১ আষাঢ় (১৪ জুন) ‘বর্ণ পরচয় দ্বিতীয় ভাগ’ প্রকাশিত হয়। ১৮৯০ সালের মধ্যে বারংবার পরিমার্জনের মধ্য দিয়ে প্রথম ভাগের ১৫২ টি মুদ্রণ/ সংস্করণ (মোটয়৩৩,৬০,০০০ কপি) এবং দ্বিতীয় ভাগের ১৪০টি মুদ্রণ/সংস্করণ (মোট ১৫,৯০,০০০ কপি) প্রকাশিত হয়। কী গভীর অধ্যবসায় ও নিষ্ঠা নিয়ে তিনি এ কাজ করেছিলেন, তা ভাবলে বিস্ময়ে হতবাক হতে হয়।সুহৃদ মদনমোহন তর্কালঙ্কারকে সহায়তা করতে গিয়েই বিদ্যাসাগর উপলব্ধি করেন যে সম্পূর্ণ নতুন ঢঙে শিশুশিক্ষার পাঠ রচনা করা ছাড়া কোনও পথ নেই ।অতঃপর দীর্ঘ অনুশীলনের মধ্য দিয়ে রচিত হয় জ্ঞান রাজ্যে প্রবেশের তোরণ ‘বর্ণপরিচয়’। ‘ বর্ণপরিচয়’ রচনা করতে গিয়ে তিনি উচ্চারণ ধ্বনি অনুসারে বর্ণগুলিকে সুশৃঙ্খলভাবে সাজালেন ।স্বরবর্ণের স্থান হল শুরুতে। বাংলাতে যেসব বর্ণের প্রয়োগ নেই (যেমন দীর্ঘ ঋ, দীর্ঘ লি) সেগুলিকে তিনি বাতিল করলেন। ং,ঃ- কে ব্যঞ্জনবর্ণভুক্ত করলেন।ঁ ,ড়,ঢ় য়-এর Read More …

মৌ চক্রবর্তী , নাট্য গবেষক , নাটক ও নাট্যকলা বিভাগ, সংগীত ভবন, বিশ্বভারতী mou.chakraborty@visva-bharati.ac.in ১.১ ভূমিকা     বঙ্গরঙ্গমঞ্চ ও ক্ষমতায়ন–এর পারস্পরিক কি কোন যোগ হতে পারে। যেখানে ক্ষমতা বিষয়টি নিয়ে এখনও সমাজতাত্ত্বিক আলোচনা পুরুষতান্ত্রিক ভরকেন্দ্রিক। সার্বিক প্রেক্ষাপট এবং জ্ঞাপক – সর্বজনীন মাধ্যমের তথ্য, উপাদানসহ এ নিয়ে আলোচনা হচ্ছে আধুনিক পর্যায়ে। তবে বঙ্গরঙ্গমঞ্চ –এর ব্যাপ্তিতে পুরুষ-সমাজের উত্তম পুরুষকার তো সর্বজনবিদিত। এর সঙ্গে ক্ষমতায়ন জুড়তে গেলে তা হতে হবে, নারীকেন্দ্রিক আলোচনা। এবং, তা কেবলমাত্র নটী, অভিনেত্রীদের দিক থেকেই হতে পারে। জাতীয় পর্যায়ের যে পরিসংখ্যান তাতে নারীর ক্ষমতায়ন বিষয়ে আলোচনা এক নতুনতর অভিযোজন। এর মুখ্য উদ্দেশ্য নারীদের সামাজিক, রাজনৈতিক এবং আর্থিক অবস্থান বোঝা। এবং উক্ত প্রসঙ্গ সমাজ নামক এককে বিশেষ করে উপস্থাপিত হতে থাকছে ততক্ষণ, যতক্ষণ না আলোচনায় মতামতে সার্বিকভাবে নারীর সহাবস্থান ঘটে। উক্ত সহ – অবস্থানের বিষয়টি নিয়ে আলোচনা এক ইউটোপিয় ধারণা, যার বাস্তবায়ন না ঘটলেও ধারণাটি নিয়ে সম্যক চর্চা হতে পারে। আলোচ্য প্রবন্ধের বিষয় নারীর ক্ষমতায়ন প্রসঙ্গটি আন্তর্জাতিক এক মতবাদ। যা Read More …
