Rabindranath in Dual Contemplation: Exploring the Complexity of His Perspectives
Dr. Mali Mitra. Memari College, Asst. Prof. In Music.Abstract:Of all the songs compiled in Rabindranath Tagore’s Gitabitan, those that areformal can be expressed in a dual sense. These songs were originally printedin the second volume of the Psalms. In this discussion, an attempt has beenmade to express Rabindranath’s dualistic thinking by expressing the formalsongs of Rabindranath in written form rather than in tune. For example, thefirst song at this stage can be said”Dual Contemplation, ‘Patiya Boso OHridyanath—“This song was composed by the poet on the occasion of themarriage of a relative (1304).
